Organized Youth Advocacy
The Regional Prevention Center staff’s work with regional and local community coalitions gives us a broad-based capacity to influence and advocate for effective regulations and policies related to youth and substance use. We provide educational resources and materials to legislators, policy makers and community leaders based upon the most recent research available. Our local coalitions are active with youth organizations and families to help them advocate for matters promoting a community-wide, knowledge-based position about tobacco, alcohol and drug use.
