About Christy

Lead Manager of Performance Monitoring

Christy McGovern is a licensed clinical mental health and substance use counselor (LPCC-S, LICDC, CADC) with over 18 years of experience in the social services and health care fields. She earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Kentucky University in 2012. Christy leads and coordinates NorthKey’s development as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) and compliance with The Joint Commission standards of care. She also serves as NorthKey’s Health Equity leader. Christy is passionate about improving quality of care for those we serve. As a fan of Viktor Frankl’s book Man’s Search for Meaning, she believes in the importance of helping others find meaning and hope, even—perhaps especially—during the toughest of times.
